Why were the monks so desperate to get rid of Ace?

I will Answer your questions as you have no doubt been checking on here every day for the past 2 years in the hope of a response.

They were accepting of him but even the monks thought he was truly crazy, they saw there chance to get him to leave on his own accord and took it.

It's a joke about how Ace is so obnoxious and annoying even the most stoic and unconditionally loving people in the world can't stand him. Ha ha it is funny laugh now.
