What about the ending? Spoiler

I'm just wondering about the ending, I've been told by a bunch of *beep* that both Adam and Julia get killed, this statement is based on the symbolism of the *beep* black and white scene before the credits.

Can somebody pleasehelp me?!

Dear boy,

You seem to possess some rather remarkably clever friends. Yes - obviously Adam and Julia get killed. Here's my explanation of the B&W scene:

Adam and Julia are dead.

Don't thank me,

hmm, I have to disagree. I don't think they are dead. I think they continue to live happily ever after.

As a matter of fact I heard that they later on moved to a little town called Ã…tvidaboll, there the bought a house in Oakvillage. The last thing I heard was that Julia changed her name to Tina. And that Adam got a job at Tobbas.

And no my friends are quite daft.

You, sir, should read less "Kalle Ankas pocket" books - this isn't Mickey Mouse world, and keep Tinsan out of it.

Earlier in the movie the arabs acquire the infamous "cop killer" ammunition, subsequently used in the carefully planned and successfully executed assault on Adam. Now, if you pay enough attention, you'll notice that arab #2 - before engaging in combat with Adam - is wearing a bullet-proof vest underneath his coat. This is why he survives Adam's shotgun blast. Adam, on the other hand, gets it the eye and dies.

In fact, Adam isn't the B&W-character, arab #2 is.

The true message of this movie is: Don't mess with angry arabs, because in the end of the movie they'll be the ones standing on the frozen ground at the house with the cross, peacefully pondering how best to celebrate the victory of Islam over Christianity.

Point taken, however I would like to enphyice that the B&W concluding chapter is probably the most profund ending I've ever seen in Swedish Cinema.
