Anyone who's looking for a real alternative to the IMDb message boards should check out this site. It has a separate board for every movie and tv show:

Someone recommended this to me earlier.
It's wonderful. It's the IMDB replacement for the messageboards. It's a picture-friendly version of IMDB with less details on projects, but it has a discussion board for everything, so that puts it above IMDB on that scale (once the boards are murdered here).
