What are your favorite episodes/stories from this show?

Some of my favorites are the Tom Sawyer two-parter, the Sleepy Hollow two-parter, great stuff there, Pantin' at the Opera, Twisted Tail, the Red Badge of Courage episode, and that story where the slaves who worked in the field flew away to Heaven. How about everybody else?

I love the Courtship of Miles Standish episode. I love the story and it's short enough that not much was left out of the adaptation. Plus, I know that a lot of people didn't like the way the main characters aged but I did and this was a more "mature" plot that wouldn't have worked in the earlier years. It makes me wish the show could have continued and that they dealt with more adult themes.

I like the adaptation of Journey to the Center of the Earth. The book was mostly boring with some cool stuff thrown in. This episode kept all the cool stuff and left out the boring stuff.

For the stories set in the real world, I love the one where Sam and her friends search for a horseshoe in an abandoned barn. The fire and Sam's rescue of Joe and David is my all time favorite Wishbone moment. Plus the music is awesome.
