Books/Stories You Wished They'd Used for Episodes

I loved this show as a kid, but there were so many stories they didn't use that would have made great episodes. I'd love to see them do something with The Man Who Laughs by Victor Hugo, and more of Edgar Allan Poe's works. What about you?

Nevermore!

I am surprised they never did an episode with Bram Stoker's Dracula. That would have made an interesting episode.

Jane Eyre. Wishbone would make an interesting Mr. Rochester. I could see Amy Acker as Jane too. Wuthering Heights (with Wishbone as Heathcliff) would be good too.

A Christmas Carol would make a good Christmas story.

Edgar Allan Poe would probably be hard to do for little kids given how dark his stuff is; his most accessible story involves someone being murdered and their body being dismembered under a floor. IDK how you could sanitize it like they did other stories.

I am surprised though that they never did Dracula given they did Frankenstein.

Someone mentioned Dracula, I could see that working great on Wishbone! I'm also surprised they didn't do more from the Bible, I remember David and Goliath being portrayed, but Noah, Job, Elijah, etc would've also been cool to see, even if it may have caused a bit of controversy. More of the 1,001 nights would've been great too. Others I can think of, maybe maybe Hamlet? MacBeth? Of Mice and Men? King Arthur and Merlin? The Diary of Anne Frank? The list goes on...

It would be interesting to see a Wishbone take on 1984.

What about Les Miserables? Wishbone would have given an excellent take on Valjean!
