Did any successful or famous actors get their start on Wishbone? Did any of the day actors who played in individual episodes
or had one time appearances, like the actor who played Jim Red Badge of Courage, go on to land major roles?
Amy Acker, who appeared in some later episodes, went on to a regular role in Angel.
I know most people wouldn't consider her a famous actress but Melissa Archer, who played the girl Joe and David fought over in the Courtship of Miles Standish episode, became a soap opera actress (notably on One Life to Live)
That's all I know off the top of my head.
ETA: I thought that Jensen Ackles appeared on this show after his big break in Days of our Lives (I saw it as a rerun) but it was actually before. He later found more mainstream fame on the tv show Supernatural.
I also realized that all three actors I mentioned are from Dallas, Texas. I think that's where the show was filmed and it used local actors.
Mo Rocca, from the Daily Show, directed one of the episodes, but I'm not sure which one, or if it was before or after he became one of their "correspondents" (IIRC he was on for both the Kilborn and Stewart eras). He's listed on the cast and crew page.
