Was I the only one that thought Shawn was a bit of a bully?

He was unsupportive of Marlon, tried to take advantage of Marlon's ignorance, shortchanging him at the newstand, giving him only 30% as an 'equal partner', and stole the spotlight when Marlon wanted to be a model.

Yeah, maybe earlier on. They were kind of one dimensional and still figuring things out.

Aside from the time Shawn pretended to be Marlon's agent, it was hard for me to sympathize with Marlon. Shawn supported Marlon for years, he stood up for him, and tolerated things like Marlon being irresponsible and ruining multiple dates that Shawn had. Eventually, Shawn supported Marlon as an actor.

When Shawn was out of work, Marlon acted uptight about doing things for Shawn despite Shawn spending years doing things for Marlon. I agree about Shawn overshadowing Marlon as a model, but those weren't Shawn's original intentions and he was talked into it.

Reboot, restart or re-imagining is another word for remake

Its all for comedy purposes, Shawn was the older, more mature one while Marlon was the bonehead lol...it all worked out fine for comedy purposes.

Yeah I see what your saying Shawn was always looking out for Marlon, paying bills around the house, and etc., in return Marlon was just a freeloader, sorry, and sometimes annoying. I do hate how Shawn didn't believe in Marlon, he wasn't stupid he had some sense.
