I've been waiting for years for 2-5 to be released. I don't want the first season ..I mean it was ok but season 2 is when it became better. Probably fighting over who owns the rights. I've emailed Warner Bros and received no reply.

That pissed me off for years, but then again I am a grown and pragmatic man and I know how the DVD sales and distributing businesses work.
Me personally, I would love to have all five seasons on DVD to watch on my OWN time.
Because these networks (MTV 2, Centric, and BET) put Wayans Bros. reruns on every other day and sometimes not all during the week and I'm tired of that.
All I can do is pray Season 2-5 come out. By the way Season 1 is better than you think.
The Pilot episode was hilarious. On that episode Marlon beat the HELL out of Gary Coleman with that newspaper on their public access show. Ah, good times.
Awwwww man! Thanks for your response..I'm pissed also and have emailed Warner Brothers but received no answers. I think if the fans fired off letters they would release 2-5. I too, can only catch the show on Sat and Sun since I'm off those nights so it works for me. Nevertheless, I'm with u on owning the dvds to watch when I want. I like season one..I mean it's ok..it became waaaay better when Season 2 started. Omg.."Ghetto Gourmet" one of my favs!! I'm so desperate I'm thinking bout buying season one..

You gave me an idea. I'm thinking about sending Warner Bros. a one to two page letter on releasing Seasons 2-5. I mean what's the worse that could happen?
And also like you said, I'm thinking about buying Season 1 on Amazon just to get my Wayans Bros. fix. I LOVE that show so much. It helps to make my weekdays and weekends. I almost feel like apart of my day has a void in it when the Wayans Bros. don't come on.
I remember when I got mad that NBC or distributors Lorimar and Columbia didn't release the Fred Dryer show Hunter (1984-1991) on DVD. But out of nowhere, a company called Mill Creek Productions got together with those distributor(s) and released the show as a box set back in 2010 and I was so happy!!!
Maybe by the grace of God, Warner Bros. or somebody will step in and help get the last four seasons of Wayans Bros. on DVD.
Hello there!!! I feel the same way when the Wayans aren't on. I think u should write a letter..they haven't responded to my inquiries at all! Ghetto Gourmets..lololol..one of my fav episodes!! That's one for kiki!! They kill me! I liked Hunter back in the day also but didn't know they were having DVD release problems. When I typed in wayans brothers dvd a website popped up called Bonanza. They claimed to have seasons 1-5 but I don't trust the site..only 21.99 for the complete season. Amazon has it where u can buy all seasons to show on your computer..with today's technology you can probably transfer it to the tv but I'm not as tech savvy as I was in my younger days. I'm off tonight and I checked..it's on from 2am til 6. Yaaaaay!!! We need more emailing to WB. I'm not sure how to work Twitter but #thewayansbros is what I typed it and you should see the fans talking about the show!! Keep me posted..
shareAnd you're right I wouldn't trust them dudes who have Seasons 1-5 on DVD. That may be a black market or shady site that may take your credit or debit card information and use it for their own gain.
My brother always told me to buy stuff online from trusted and chain retailers because regular start up or privately owned businesses could be on some shady business practices, especially in these economic times.
Wayans Bros. season 2-5 was on Youtube for years, but then Warner Bros. put pressure on Youtube and it got removed. Somewhere last year I was able to view some episodes of Wayans Bros. online.. if you want I can go look for you where exactly.

Yeah like you, I used to watch the Wayans Bros. on YouTube all the time. Pushing the rewind button on the toggle area of the screen on funny stuff that Marlon, Shawn and Pops did all the time like I had no sense.
Wayans Bros. on YouTube used to be one of the many things I'd immerse myself in daily. When it was taken off, I was pissed. Tube did the same ish to Martin (1992-1997).
But luckily MTV 2 airs Martin daily so I stopped trippin.
