They use the same laugh track on some episodes

They use the same laugh tracks in some episodes, you can hear someone in the laugh track saying "go girl!", I don't even know if it's an original laugh track from "The Wayans Bros" because it seems like I've heard it on another sitcom as well.

Yeah like on shows like Jamie Foxx and Steve Harvey. I guess there we`re no live studio audience on these shows so they just created their own audiences by using the sound mixing for the voices of the audience.

reply

LOL Yeah I always hear the 'go girl' on a lot of shows too. I heard it on Kenan and Kel too a few times, even though they're live. LOL

I hate that "go girl" sound more than any other laugh track. It's easy to recognize and it's often played during the most awkward times, like when there are no females. I think I first heard it on an episode of Living Single.

The later episodes of The Wayans Brothers, Keenan & Kel, and All That played that sound often, the crowd sounds on the earlier episodes weren't as obvious.

Reboot, restart or re-imagining is another word for remake

I've heard 'go girl!' on every black 90s sitcom! Thought I was the only one.

reply

Yep I've noticed it for years too

reply

Anybody got a clip of this sound?

reply

Lol oh yeah, you can most definitely hear that laugh track in almost all the 90s (especially black) sitcoms. Another laugh track I always heard was that lady with that God-awful high-pitched screech/laugh
