Song that ep. 6 'Escape' opened with??

I was very happen when I was able to get my hands on the official released soundtrack to this show and that it contained the song that episode 5 opened with. But I was bummed out that it didn't include the song that episode 6 "Escape" opened with. Someone posted the full episodes on YouTube but their Episode 6 version includes different music in the beginning.

Does anyone know what the song and artist were for the original song that played during Sydney's attempted escape at the start of the episode?

The music used is sometimes different depending on what country the show is aired. Certain countries have restrictions on what songs can be used. I've never seen the overseas versions of the series but from what I've seen posted the music differed than what was used for the series, it's my understanding that for U.S. broadcast all the music used for the series was composed by John Frizzell. Are you sure the Youtube version you saw were from the U.S. broadcast, the series was never officially put on Youtube by the distributors.

The best thing to do is try and find the u.S. version and compare the music, since all the music from the U.S. was created for the series I've never seen the show except when it first aired, although I've seen post and even the misleading Wikipedia state that three of the episodes never aired on Fox, I've seen the entire 13 episodes recently and apparently the people and sites that claim there were unaired episodes stopped watching when the episodes were first broadcast Fox repeated the series during the summer, because I remember seeing all 13 episodes in their entirety it could be since they were summer reruns some local station decided to air local programming.

According to Wikipedia "Sisters," "Send Me An Angel," and "Parallel Lives" were not broadcast on Fox. When I watch these three episodes I remember seeing them during the summer because i clearly remember Sidney waking up at the end of "Send Me an Angel" and calling out her sisters name when she realized she was still alive, and I didn't have cable or satellite back then and I've never seen the series on Sci-fi aka SyFy now.

I've seen the listing for the soundtrack and most of the songs listed looks like they were taken form selected episodes, but mainly the pilot, and the episode "Sisters", "Dr. Strangechild", "Love and Death", maybe "5D", and "Simon's Choice".

Movies will make you famous; Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.

I think it was music that is featured in the soundtrack with Lori Singer talking over the top. The soundtrack features the music without the voiceover.
