Best side-hero / villain

Who's your favorite side-superhero (any superhero besides the Tick), and villain?
Mine're Bigshot and Mental.

reply

After seeing the Tick vs. Filth I would have to say that the best side hero is Sewer Urchin. The best villian has to be Chairface. Also, I like the Crusading Chameleon side hero. Does Barry/Original Tick count as hero or a villain 'cause I like him to.

reply

I'd say Barry/Tick is more of a dink than anything.

Best Side Hero: The Human Bullet

Best Villain: I'd like to say Chairface Chippendale, but I can't. Although he is in the top 5. No, I think that the best villian is Thrakarzog. I mean, who else would make a Tick clone out of snot?

"Rygel is an obnoxious gasbag, and who's gonna shell out for that?"

reply

The best side hero is without a doubt the Bi-Polar Bear. I fell over laughing at that gag.
Best villian is a tough call. I like Brainchild but Dinosaur Neil is a dinosaur

This is blood for blood and by the gallons. It's the old days, the bad days. They're back!

reply

my favorite character was Die Fledermaus, though he was a terrible hero.

favorite villain: oh, it's been so long since the show was on, but I'll say The Evil Bomber what Bombs at Midnight, just for the goofy name.

"Boy, Thou Uproarious Shark of Heaven, Slaughter of Elysium, Hearts on fire aroused enraptured"

reply

sarcastro

reply

My favorite side hero would have to be Die Fledermaus his dialog was hillarious, and the whole idea of a complete poser superhero was pure genuis. I haven't seen every episode but I always hoped there would be one where he finally actually did something usefull.

Favorite villan definity The Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight.

reply

Of course, Taft was very cool.

Darn right!

"If you've got any sense of humor or no standards at all you'll love 'em."

reply

Either Sarcastro or Baby Boomerangutuang..."It's okay to play with dolls!" That's almost as good as "Spoon!" as a battle cry.

"Hello? China? I have something you want, but it'll cost you...thats right, all the tea..."

reply

For villain, most definitely The Evil Midnight Bomber. Yeah Baby!

For best side-hero, I guess I'm in a minority. I thought American Maid was great. Despite having one of the goofiest motifs, she was the most competent hero around. That, since she was pretty much a "straight-man" (straight-woman?), any time any other side hero interracted with her, she made them funnier.

reply

For side hero it's anyone of the top three Die Flaudermause, Sewer Urchin, or the American Maid.

For bad guy i'd say either the Terror or Brainchild.

If you lose a son it is possible to get another, but there is only one Maltese Falcon.

reply

The human bullet made me laugh...

HB: Fire me son!
Wife: He went to his friends to play.
HB: Oh...fire me wife!
Wife: No...that's stupid!

And Chairface Chippendale is the best bad guy...

LITTLE WOODEN BOY!!!

reply

super side hero: mr.exciting "ITS GREAT TO BE ALIVE!!!"

villian: chairface chippendale and his minions(love boils brown)

reply

Tie between Little Wooden Boy, Tongue-Tongue (though it wasn't clear what he was), and Speak. Though, Sewer Urchin was great. Definately Sewer Urchin, definately.

For villain, most likely it would be the Filth. They are so funny.

reply

I Love The Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight But My Favorite Has To Be The Deadly Bulb. A Pig For A Foot? HILARIOUS!!!

Side Hero, The Human Tongue "I Can Tast Your Back"

hmm, as side heroes go, that Punisher parody or whats-his-name rocked, Bullet guy as well. Villains.. Chairface, who else. I mean people, duh, he was voiced by the legendary Tony Jay

Mondale to Hart: "Where's the beef?"

reply

Best side hero: The Human Bullet ("Fire Me Boy!")

Best villain: "Boom, Baby, Boom! I'm the Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight!" Guy puts me on the floor everytime I watch that episode.

reply

They were all good but just the mention of Die Fledermouse running away and disconnecting his telephone made me laugh. You just knew that was soooo in character. "Hmmmm, this is really good gouda." (Smack!)

Again the villains were all good. The Human Ton (and Handy!) was hilarious: "He's biting his head and I'm till talking. He's biting his head and I'm still talking! How does he do it?"

This show was one of the funniest I've ever seen. Crying shame they ended it so early.

"Fire me, boy!"

As others mentioned, it is hard to go against Die Fledermaus as best side hero. The ultimate poser superhero is just amazing and is so well executed in his dialogue and situations he gets into. Also, the fact that American Maid had an ongoing thing with him was pretty hilarious.

The Tick had so many classic villains that it is truly hard to choose just one. I personally always liked El Seed (the Spanish talking flower in the matador suit) and his little female bee twins.

El Seed: " Soldier of corn! Lend me your ears!"
Tick: (to Arthur) " Oooh, that's bad"

reply

While I laugh uproariously at The Midnight Bomber what Bombs at Midnight, the clearly best villain, as far as plans, execution, and chances at success in his evil endeavors is Charles.
