Just how big was Kazon space.

How does a ship on a one-way direction, at high-warp for 2yrs, keep running into the same people. It seems preposterous that Kazon-Nistrom were always ahead of them waiting somewhere to cause trouble when they don't have ships anywhere as fast as Voyager.

Plus, the Kazon came across like bumbling buffoons, and were weak as main antagonist. It was amazing they were even warp-capable.

It would have been better if they had to face a new gang every couple of "space blocks" like in the movie "The Warriors".

I liked the chunks of bark in their hair.

I could never figure out what their hair consist of. Some odd shit

Using a mathemological equation, I figure that since it would take around 70 years to travel the 75000 light years back to Fed space, we can for simplicity’s sake approximate 1000 light years for each year traveled, so Kazon space would be about 2000 light years across.

I think you are overestimating the Kazon. Unlike Klingon space or Romulan space, the Kazon don't really rule the space they are in. They were essentially pirates; a species that was once enslaved, broke away and never really found a home. Don't forget, the Kazon were a species the Borg thought were unworthy of assimilation.
