Is the Iron Man that appears on this show the same Iron Man from his solo TV series from the same time period?

I always assumed that this was meant to be in-canon with each other since they got Robert Hays from the Iron Man show to voice Tony Stark and they got James Avery to voice War Machine/James Rhodes. It wasn't as explicit that those shows shared the same continuity as it was when the X-Men crossed over to the Spider-Man series (Earth-92131). Or even when Iron Man and War Machine later crossed over into the Incredible Hulk animated series on UPN (Earth-534834).
