wasted potential

This show was never as good as Dr. Who, but I feel it was in the same vein. It had potential to be very interesting and endlessly creative. This show started based on scientific possibility, but like DW, unfortunately went with superstition and mystical storylines from time to time. Unlike DW, Sliders never evolved their characters and never pushed their imagination pass simple crowd pleasing ideas.

The show could have replaced their writers and even followed a new cast every 3 years. Anyway, wasted opportunity.
