what was Ross Geller doing in The Single Guy. what was his part in it

The only reason why he was on the single guy was because during sweeps months NBC wanted to have characters from other shows guest star on a different show on the same night. If I remember Helen Hunt appeared on friends and showed up in central perk and confused phoebe for urusla.

Did you ever notice that Ross Geller was never seen in the same scene with Jessica Hetch's character as she played Carol's lesbian lover on Friends.

I have tried very hard to forget everything about the single guy, but if he did see her you might have seen a lame single guy joke of looking like someone.

There was a cross show thing going on there. Like the "Black out". Caused by "Mad About You", followed up by "Friends", (Chandler trapped in the ATM room.) Only "Seinfeld" refused to participate. I can't remember if "The Single Guy" or "Friends" showed it., but J. Silverman(?) and D. Schwimmer were in a limo. Each thought the other was gay. One of the finest written comedy ever in a sitcom. Hyserical.

Seinfeld did participate to some extent...Mad About You's Paul Riser visited the apartment complex...he had lived next to Kramer when he was a bachelor, before Jerry took the apartment. I just don't remember if they covered that in an episode of Seinfeld or Mad About You...I definitely remember M. Richards and Paul Riser in a scene together in Kramer's hallway though.
