Question about the revamped Pinky, Elmyra, and the Brain series
Was there ever an episode of some kind detailing the backstory for this revamp, just before the new show premiered?

Well the theme song to PE&B is more or less it. The lab they arr based/live in is closed. They try to other labs are always found and tossed out. They end up in pet store. They are brought by Elmyra.
