similarities to the cosby show

1. Both families are African American
2. Both families live in New York City
3. Both familes live in Brownstones.

Can anybody else think of any others?

Claire Huxtable was an attorney and Jerri Peterson was in law school (wasn't she?)

I've always thought that the little actresses who played the youngest daughters on each show - Keshia Knight-Pulliam (Rudy) and Ashli Amari Adams (Cece Petersen) - had similar physical features. Physically, Cece reminded me of Rudy quite a bit.

Also - both of those characters had charming little male buddies who made frequent appearances on the shows.

Both shows brought in people from the other side of the tracks to live with them in later years. There was cousin Pam on the Cosby Show and TK Anderson on Parent Hood.
