2x18 Full Moon question

I've been rewatching the show hit 2x18. Just before TC and Chris kiss the first time they're staking out the ATM from within the dumpster area. Chris makes a comment about "do you ever think about that night we were undercover in the hotel?" and TC responds "it was two nights". Now I'm watching straight through, and I don't remember a situation where they were undercover at a hotel, especially one where they had any kind of "moment". Did I miss an episode some how? Was there one that wasn't aired, or it's out of order and I'm not there yet? It seems like a specific reference that the audience is supposed to get, and it would also explain the fact that their sudden romantic feelings seemed like they cam from out of nowhere.
