I remember catching this episode in cable syndication in the 90s and loving it. Amanda Plummer and Michelle Forbes brought some serious acting to a great script (at least so far as my memory serves 20 years after the fact).

I know that some of the episodes were edited from the original as showed on Showtime (I think). Does anyone remember any differences for that particular episode?

I just watched this episode for the first time last night. I binged on a number of time travel episodes that I found on youtube.

Since I didn't see it when it aired originally, I can't say if it was edited. But because of the running time it didn't appear that anything was cut out.

What a great story, very moving performances. And what a serious moral dilemma, to apply punishment before the crime is committed!

No differences between the showtime and syndicated versions of this episode. The syndicated version runs a few seconds longer due to added fade outs. The episode didn't have any cursing or nudity that needed to be edited.
