Which episode?

I'm hoping someone on here can help please. I seem to recall an episode where a guy was woken from suspended animation (for medical reasons) into a future world post holocaust with a mainly aggrerian culture. The guy has knowledge of an orbiting weapons platform and is duped into using it to destroy an incoming asteroid. The asteroid was in fact an incoming spaceship full of people or decendants of people who were evacuated off world before the holocaust. The existing culture fearing that the returning peole would threaten their peaceful existance and lifestyle.
Does anyone remember which episode this is or have I mistaken this for something else!
All responses gratefully recieved with thanks in advance.

Here's another weird episode that I'm looking for. Actually 2 episodes.

One episode I'm looking for is about a guy who has a sex change into a hot sexy girl and then goes back in time to make love to himself. Unfortunately though, his encounter with his past self leads to his past self being shot and killed and end up erasing his current (future) existence.

Another episode I'm looking for actually had a lot of clips from past episodes. It was about this government agent talking to his superiors about possible alien invasion and secret conspiracies and brings up examples from past episodes (most of them didn't even involve him in the original showing of the episodes) but then his superiors go back and have a discussion privately. Meanwhile, the government official puts 2 and 2 together and thinks the high authority is an alien spying on them. So when they all come back he shoots the high official dead only to realize he was wrong and that the high official had believed him and wanted to discuss more about how to uncover the conspiracies and thus by shooting him, he just made him self a murder and made himself look like a nutjob.

Very funny. Yeah I know it wasn't Skinemax because No. 1 there was no nudity.
No. 2, we didn't know why this girl wanted to go back to the past to meet this guy and make love to him until his past self gets shot and then she starts screaming and starts to disappear.

At the end of the episode they talked about the ultimate way of making love to one's self.

Here's another episode that's popped into my head but I can't remember what show this was from but it's about a guy who starts to fall more and more in love with his hologram girl and virtual reality over his current gf and reality.

I know this one. It was the show Perversions of Science and the episode was called Given the Heir.

Really. Wow, I don't even remember the name of that show. Thanks. For some reason I thought it was Outer Limits, but oh well. I miss the Outer Limits. Especially that opening.

You may be thinking of Valerie 23. Android Valerie was created by Innobotics and assinged to live with an employee of Innobotics. He was crippled, and that made him a little shy and self conscious about finding a mate.

She did not really have a single creator. Valerie fell in love with him, but he fell in love fell in love with his female physical therapist.

Valerie got jealous and tried to kill the physical therapist.

This brings to mind one rule of thumb in the Outer Limits world: Beware of shy guys with low self esteem. Death follows them.

I prefer the uncut version of this episode.

Actually, it's from The Twilight Zone (1985). The segment is called "Quarantine" and was coupled with "Welcome to Winfield".
