Anyone else tired of all the references to consciousness, aka Dualism?

I've noticed that in basically every episode they talk about the 'mind' being a separate entity to the 'soul' and the soul lives on after you die. Sure, I don't mind entertaining this thought in some episodes as it could be interesting and might add a lot to the story. But in every episode?!

Even when they portray scientists and philosophers, they almost always have them accepted Dualism. And at the rare times when they do, they are always the bad guys! This is far from the reality of universities when most professors of science and philosophy do not accept Dualism.
