Her "Naked Truth" anecdote makes me wish I had a better memory of that show's final season. I remember it being a really funny show during its first season on ABC (which had a rare guest appearance from Tom Hanks in one episode--possibly the pilot) and it was fast paced, well written and lively performed show in the mode of Spin City lets say. And then ABC cancels it (cause ratings were right in the middle there) NBC picks it up, and immediately makes a whole slew of changes, which seemed to really de-fang or water down the show which had previously been sharper edged in its skewering of celeb culture. It somehow turned into a more generic wacky office place type sitcom from what it had been previously which was much more raucous.

On the bright side they added Chris Elliot to the cast as a guy with a Bing Crosby fixation. (If I remember right, he was going around saying that he was an unacknowledged child of his, which was a very Chris Elliot thing to do--I only remember that because I was big on anything Chris Elliot and was thrilled that he was gonna be on a show again.)
