who is the artist singing Cry Me A River during the opening cedits. there are plenty of version of the song, but hers was just simply the best. anyone out there have a clue?

It is. She originally recorded the song in the early eighties for Showpeople and re-recorded it in the early nineties for The Rhythm Romance. If you like the song, it's digitally remastered with a slightly different arrangement on The Platinum Collection.
