odd series,some good acting and locations but also looks odd.

I picked up second hand dvds of this,having a distant memory that it was pretty good.

Hannah is a good actor I believe in him as the character,I like Suzanna Hamilton in anything and the minor parts are good as well.

The opening credits sequence is great,aerial shots of London at night the show does not make great use of locations,too much of his flat and his office.

But there is something odd about it,I like the East End locations but some of the sets look too much like sets and the plots are often weak.

But people seem to have high opinions and fond memories of this so perhaps if I had seen more of it in back in the day I would enjoy it more?
