Music From The Maxx
Does anyone know who did the music for the series? I know theres no soundtrack, but I wanted to know the musicians or composer of the background music.

shareNo clue. But I like the background music too. Especially the one whenever the characters are having one of those *emontional* scenes.
shareI know for sure I have some of the music in the series, more specifically some of the surf songs, but I still haven't been able to remember what artist it is. I'll browse through my collection some day in the near future to figure it out.
shareIf anyone happens to find some of that muted jazz stuff that plays for most of the series, or even knows of artists or compilation albums that are similar, please let me know. The surfer stuff I can do without.
sharesounds like the Sin City Music but I know it's not the same composer
Kill da wabbit
Diogosaraiva, could you tell us the names of the surf songs or who they're by?
shareAlmost every time we hear a radio playing, it is playing "I Want to Marry a Lighthouse Keeper by Erica Eigen. You can get this song from the "A Clockwork Orange" soundtrack.

"In this world, a man, himself, is nothing. And there ain't no world but this one."
Those songs always remind me of the band The Residents...I don't know if it is or isn't, but they have a similar sound.
shareit would be beyond awesome if you could tell me who did the surf song? and what LP it's from? thanks.
shareWhere can I get hold of the Jazz parts. They're just great!
the info I found was :
Series Original Music by
Miki Navazio (unknown episodes)
Kurt Vanzo (unknown episodes)
Series Sound Department
Peter S. Carlstedt .... music editor (unknown episodes)
Kurt Vanzo .... sound designer / sound mixer (unknown episodes)
I'd like to second this request -- any info about any other of the soundtrack artists/tracks/etc. would be appreciated..... I haven't been able to find much info that isn't here, and love pretty much all of the soundtrack music.
I have a slight fear that hearing it outside of the context of the show might ruin some of the music for me, but curiosity gets the better of me...
Some guy on YouTube has all the episodes posted: http://www.youtube.com/myownthrenody
If you watch the end credits and pause you'll see the composer's name is Kurt Vanzo. I'm googling him right now. I haven't seen this series since I was a kid and would very much like to see this on DVD and the soundtrack come out too.
