I dont think there has been any real news on the maxx recently, and by recently I meen past couple of years. Will there be any semi-big maxx related news at all anytime soon? Or is this sam keith masterpiece unfourtunatly done and over with?

I am sure Sam Kieth is still waiting for this to be picked up again.
His "The Art of Sam Kieth" book is still waiting to hit the market.
The last thing I heard was Sam Kieth was doing Batman short series, which recently came out.
I only hope that like Frank Miller, Sam Kieth can get hooked up with an independent film company.
If you love The Maxx, pick up the two Zero Girl short series, you will find the same spirit there.
I also heard that the maxx is in Sam kieth's new book popbot.
Ah damn, I wanted to see an ending.

Although I did like the ending to "The Maxx" alot, although I'm slightly biased as by the end, my favourite character was Artimus and when him and Dave were all chummy and Julie + (blank) were happy, so I felt it was a good ending.
We also assume that because Artie is happy, so is Sarah.
So, yeah. I liked the ending alot and don't need it expanded on, although I really adore "The Maxx" so revisiting it again will be great!
