Or more importantly, how could anyone have acquired them illegally, as is implied?
If the studios don't think it's worthwhile to release this series on DVD, it just means that the bootleggers are selling out of print VHS tapes at ridiculous prices. It doesn't make the studio any money. Is that what you consider legal?
People who buy bootleg would buy bootleg anyways but if "The Maxx" was re-released then the fans would buy it if they hadn't submitted tio buying booyleg (I picked the Video when it was released)
shareI buy bootlegs on rare occasions and on even rarer occasions after the official version comes out I buy that too. Just the other day a friend gave me a burnt c.d. and I liked it so much I went out and bought at the store.
I also got the vhs when it was released.
