Rob Paulsen Vs. Jim Carrey

Who do you guys enjoy more as The Mask? Rob Paulsen or Jim Carrey. Jim is one of the best Hollywood actors out there and Rob is a voice-over legend. Obviously both Rob and Jim are ten times more talented than Jamie Kennedy.

But if there's one argument then that is Jim refuses to make a Mask sequels (or any sequels for that matter except "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls") yet Rob is more than happy to reprise his character.

Yet Jim made The Mask/Stanely Ipkiss into the character that we all love to this day.

Is it Jim or Rob?

Jim Carrey definetly.
Without him, Rob Paulsen wouldnt even be The Mask and Jim originated the Stanley Ipkiss character as we know him today, so he gets my vote for sure!

I'm gonna say Rob.

He'd be more than willing to reprise his role.

Jim's funnier, but I take issues with his attitude...and I'm a smug dude.

Personally I enjoy both guys. Rob and Jim are masters of their crafts and top entertainers. Jim is a comedy genius and Rob is living proof that voice actors are the real stars in the entertainment industry.

Without Jim, Rob wouldn't add "The Mask" on his impressive resume. However, Rob still kept the character alive after the movie (I'm glad that Rob put his own spin on The Mask rather than just do a Jim Carrey impersonation). Takes two to tango really. I read somewhere that Jim and Rob met each other during the '90s which sounds interesting. I wonder if Jim loves this cartoon.

However, I do admit I'm a little fed-up with Jim's "No sequels" policy, trying to be a serious actor and hunting for an Oscar. But at least, Jim's next film is a comedy titled "Yes Man".

In speaking of sequels, I watched "Evan Almighty" recently. It was better than I thought. Pretty entertaining, but its really more of a spin-off than a sequel.

Yeah maybe Rob was a good Mask but either way, if Rob didnt take up this character someone else would have. So i'm still sticking with Jim.
