same show?

Just wondering, is this the same show that was taped in Southern Arizona in a deserted town called Old Tucson? I know there was a show like this where I was an extra. I was in the pilot episode as the little Chinese girl in a purple dress. The only scene I remember doing was standing in front of Richard Dean Anderson's character with two other kids and we were supposed to be asking for his autograph. I hope it's the same show...I heard it got cancelled cause the set burned down, and I never thought about it again. I want to find out now. Thanks for any help!

I've just recently had the opportunity to see this series...and it is the same one!
Legend is such a good series....should have been picked up!
What a good day you must have had.
Richard Dean Anderson just loves kids.

Yes, this was the same show. I was the Production Coordinator for the series and it got cancelled due to low viewer ratings. We still filmed after Old Tucson burned down. We used Mescal and a local studio as well as Bisbee and the Buffalo Ranch outside of Flagstaff to film.

You did not, by any chance, get to keep videotapes of the episodes??

I have the entire library of masters. I could kick myself for not keeping the gag reels. They were great with the gaffs with horses and the mechanical things.

Wow. Shame about the bloopers but at least the episodes are safe somewhere.
I may send you a message in a minute...
