Loved this particular SK story

It was a good story and an interesting theory but I did feel it was executed awkwardly as a TV/movie.

Perhaps an updated version might benefit from better pacing, improved visuals and more modern acting.

Usually I don't enjoy remakes but I think this is a good contender, just had to be done right.
