I can't remember the season or episode title, but there was an episode where a older guy was bitter at the navy because of his son being killed (I think). This guy was cutting up a rabbit he had killed. That response of Bud stuck with me. I don't remember Bud being a vegetarian. He made it sound weird to like eating rabbit. A better response would be "I don't care for it". Any ideas?

They're at the cabin more than once. The first time, he's there with Mac. The second time he's there with Mac and Harm and that's when this incident occurs, roughly 2/3 way through. Near the very end, the Admiral is there with Mac and Harm but it seems Bud isn't there.
Even though many animals are in major abundance in nature, you don't find them at fast food joints, most restaurants, or even grocery stores. The reason for that is psychological, rabbits are one of those animals.
Nothing weird about Bud's response.
