Xena: 'God Fearing Child'

I finally watched this - for the first ever time - last night - although I always remember seeing a bit of this on TV and thinking, wow. This episode was epic. I can't imagine watching "Full circle" now without watching these episodes straight after. What a pity that "Hercules" finished, otherwise they would have used it here, where it could have been like Season Five with Hercules losing Iolaus. Anyway, I thought it was great, and I think all "Hercules" fans have to watch it, if only for the dialogue between Hercules and Hera, and Zeus of course.

God Fearing Child may be my all time favorite episode to come out of Hercules and Xena. It really puts the relationship between the characters in perspective, and ends on a poetic note(with death comes new life). All it was missing was Iolaus. It's too bad he couldn't be around to share one final adventure with Hercules, Xena and Gabrielle. I understand why though.

It was good but it left me feeling sad because the whole storyline was meant for Herc's finale season. That would have done it justice. It felt so out of place on Xena IMO.

Yes. And I would have liked if it had been drawn out, like Hercules losing Iolaus.

I consider God Fearing Child as the Hercules series finale!! The main reason why is because the Hercules series finale sucked ass and Zesus dies in this episode by the hands of Hercules!!
