I taped this on to a cassette a long time ago, from the videos I have, along with all my California Dreams songs, and also the songs that they sung in SBTB/SBTBTNC.
But here are the two versions of the HT theme songs.
Season 1.

Season 2 onwards.

Honestly I don't know why they changed the theme, but I kind of like both of them, and I think the first one was suited to the first season, and I couldn't see it working on the second season and all those after. I kind of wish they kept the original concept of the show, the whole first season playing out over the next couple of seasons. But I guess because it was taken over by Peter Engle and became one of the shows on the TNBC line up, they felt it was necessary to change the premise of the show, to make it more of that youth orenitated line up. Which probably also explains why the cast seemed to change every season, as it also seemed to do on every other TNBC show around that time.
Anyway hope this clears it up for you. And maybe one day we might even see it again, when it is *fingers crossed* released on DVD.
