Could you tell me??

what does WO AI NI mean?

reply

Doesn't it mean "I love you" in Chinese? That's what they said in Ranma 1/2...

"Milk balls- the balls that go 'moo.'" -Gabriel Damon; Eerie, Indiana

reply

Yep, "Wo ai ni" = "I love you" in Chinese.

reply

Yeah . . . Didn't Miaka take the note to Hotohori (gosh I felt so bad for him at that point) and he translated it for her because she couldn't read it? I thought they explained it in the series?

Yo. Ore no na wa Inigo Montoya. Kisama wa chichi o koroshi-ta. Shinu kakugo shiro.

reply

Yeah.

Tamahome wrote the note in Chinese, and Hotohori did say "Wo Ai Ni - I love you"

And then towards the end of the series when Tama was going to return to the book, he had Keisuke write his note, because he doesn't know Japanese.

reply

If you read the manga it tells you it means I Love You in chinese
Miaka cant read chinese so they explain to her thats what it says
