Where are they now???

What are Lee and Herring doing now, one wonders? Any plans to work together again soon? I would quite like to think so.

I saw Stewart Lee doing stand-up in preparation for the Edinburgh festival last year, and he was good enough to sign my Fist of Fun book. Richard Herring did 'Talking Cock' onstage, and then some other project which I've forgotten the details of. There, that's helpful.

By posting this I'm going breaking one of my own rules but In this case there is a decent reason for it. Normally I'd never reply to a thread over six months old, but in the random chance someone else looks at this topic this will help.

Recent Lee & Herring stuff.

As has been mentioned Stewart Lee did his Stand-Up Comic tour, which has been out on DVD for over a year now. He was also one of the two producers/writers of Jerry Springer The Opera. And most recently was in Armando Ianucci's Time Trumpet.

Richard Herring is quite often Al Murray's frequent writing partner. While he did co-write Time Gentleman Please I'm not sure if the current (Well current as of when this was written) Al Murray Saturday night show has any connection with Rich. Rich has also done two series so far of a radio show called That Was The Week That Was, very, very similar to Fist Of Fun.

An equation for me has no meaning unless it expresses a thought of God.

Stewart Lee has also been cowriting for Kombat Opera with Richard Thomas (of Jerry Springer and TMWRNJ fame). He appeared on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe recently. He has another DVD coming out in the next couple of months of his '90s Comedian' tour.

Richard Herring has also toured recently with a show named 'The Twelve Tasks of Hercules Terrace'.

Very recently Lee and Herring did one final set together for 'Tedstock' in London. There are no plans for them to reform in the forseeable future but their set is available on YouTube - It's really worth a watch.
