I know most people wont get it, but being a paddy and schooled by priests its fecking hilarious, dougal is farking deadly
shareI'm English and I had no problem with the series. Though I was brought up a Catholic, which may have helped. Fantastic show. Its coming up to its 20th anniversary.
I'm English. You certainly don't have to be an Irish Catholic to like it.
Most people DO get it - it's a hugely popular and much loved sitcom.
