What if there was a Live Action version with Movie Actors?

If there was a live action Earthworm Jim with special effects and animatronics, which celebrities do you think would potray each character the best?
Here's what I think.

Earthworm Jim- Jim Carrey

Princess What's-her-Name- Rebecca Romeign (sp?)

Peter Puppy (voice)- Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Steve Carrell, Jerry O'Connell or Adam Sandler

Psycrow- Danny Devito, George Carlin, or Bob Hoskins

Professor Monkey-for-a-Head- Martin Short or Robin Williams

Evil the Cat (voice)- Jack Nicholson, John Lithgow, or Simon Cowell

Bob the Goldfish (voice)- Larry the Cable Guy

Queen Slug-for-a-Butt (voice)- Barbara Streisand or Cher

I'm not sure about Snott though, all he does is make little noises.

My Philosophy: Jerry O'Connell rules and Brad Pitt drools!!!!!

That's a really good cast I think but making a live-action version of Earthworm Jim would be the stupidest idea ever. But if they had to make one those would probably be who I would pick too. I think Peter Puppy might be better played by a much younger actor though, and I would choose Rosie O'Donnell for Queen Slug-for-a-butt. Snott could be just a CGI animated character, or I guess they could 'pick' someone to play him.

Everybody on this list except for the Princess and the Professor do not have to be played by real actors and can have CGI stand-ins. Hence, for all BUT those two the original voice cast would be fine, thankyouverymuch. But I like your choices for those.

I like all your choices except Evil the Cat should definately be Alan Rickman.

Oh, and I hate Larry the Cable Guy's comedy, so I haven't listened to him enough to know if he'd be good.

Anyway, this cake is great. It's so delicious and moist.

I say original voices for all of the characters who are 100% CGI. Robin Williams would make a great Monkey-For-A-Head.

Instead of live-action, I think it should be entirely CGI.

Earthworm Jim - Jack Black

Peter Puppy - Jesse Eisenberg

Peter Puppy (monster) - Kevin Michael Richardson

Snott - Frank Welker

Princess What's-Her-Name - Tina Fey

Queen Slug-for-a-Butt - Helena Bonham-Carter

Psy-Crow - Steve Carell

Bob the Killer Goldfish - Ben Stiller

Number Four - Kevin Michael Richardson

Evil the Cat - Alan Rickman

Professor Monkey-for-a-Head - Will Ferrell

Evil Jim - Jim Carrey

Narrator - John Cleese

Yipes, what a terrible idea. LOL. Sorry.

CGI movie, that would be great. But a live action movie, dear god help us if Hollywood ever gets THAT desperate for movie ideas!!

I agree with rimmer-nathan, but I'm not sure if the TC could exactly make up his/her mind whether they were talking about live-action, animatronics, or something kind of half & half, with live action plus CGI. I just cannot see Jim Carrey (or anyone else for that matter) in an EJ supersuit, with his head sticking out, with some kind of terrible pointy worm-hat on... *shudder* That would be so wrong.

They already are. Just give them time--they've already adapted '80s, '70s and '60s cartoons... They're bound to hit the '90s soon enough.
