Cybill's weird faces

I have caught some of these shows recently in reruns, and while I am a Shepherd fan from Moonlighting, her "mugging" here seems very extreme. I wish she had played it a little straighter. I think she would have made a lovely "Mary Tyler Moore" type in the show, but it bugs me a lot how she is always grimacing and scowling.
