Nurse Carr's mom

It's 2013 and I've finally started watching series 3 (1997). It's an emotional roller coaster ride, normally one I quite enjoy (though I don't always believe the characters would really behave the way the script tells them to). In any case, episode 5 introduced me to Gwenllian Davies, who plays Nurse Carr's mother. Wonderful performance! Great character, great voice, great face! She is listed on IMDb as acting through 2007 -- a 24-year career -- and yet there is absolutely no information about her. I don't even know if she's still alive. I post this message as a tribute to her, but also to ask viewers whether anyone knows anything about her, or if anyone can recommend something good that she appeared in (since most of the movies and TV series got only mediocre ratings).
