Hoff is a legend and he has proven over the years since Night Rider that it's a difficult industry to work in but he worked hard to be sucessful.

hahaha yeah he's a legend alright, but more because of how he's funny even when he's not trying to be. don't get me wrong I even have his cd's and enjoy them or atleast I enjoy laughing at them ;) anyway hasselhoff is the man and baywatch nights is the best thing to come from him and I'm sure gonna catch it up if it'll ever come out on dvd (not very likely though since the series got canceled on tv because it sucked even more than most b-grade series, which it obviously was)

If the hoff isn't acting in lousy shows he is shirtless & drunk & eating a cheeseburger hoff the floor!

reply

Yes, he's a legend.

The man can't carry a tune in a bucket, but that doesn't stop him from selling loads of records in Germany.

The man's acting "talent" makes Steven Seagal look like Oscar material, but that didn't stop him from creating the most successful TV show ever, based on the most simple premise ever: hot women in bathing suits + no plot whatsoever = $$$

And that's exactly where his "genius" lies. As all his cameos elsewhere show, he doesn't take himself seriously (and neither should we), but he has played his cards very, very well.

So don't hassle the Hoff!

I haven't watched "Hoff" since Knight Rider, I liked him in that show.. I had never even heard of this show until today... I had heard of Baywatch (the original) but I never watched it... I have nothing against pretty women in bikinis running in slow motion but... The rest of the show just didn't seem that interesting to me... I've only decided to check this show out now because I found out it had Angie Harmon in it... Loved her in "Law & Order" and now in "Rizzoli & Isles" so it's worth a look just to see what she was like as a 23 year old.. Who knows, maybe watching "Baywatch Nights" will spark an interest to watch Baywatch (the original) too...

You can probably skip the first season. The second season is insane, though. Lifeguards need something to do at night, right? Let's have them solve paranormal mysteries! It's crazy, but in an awesome way.

I like the Hoff. I know he's had some problems over the years, but I've always been a fan of his, and will continue to be one unless he finds himself in a scandal of epic proportions where there's just no defending him. His acting and music isn't for everyone, but whose is? I enjoy his work. Baywatch, Knight Rider, Baywatch Nights... I like them all. Are they worthy of Emmy Awards and lavish praise? No, not really, but they were fun to watch, and still are to this day. Hoff (or the characters he plays on the screen at least) is a hero to me.
