Correct Episode Order?

Can someone please list the right order that the episodes are supposed to go in? I am pretty sure Potato Boy should have been the third episode (right after the 2 part pilot, but it probably wasn't "exciting" enough to get people to keep watching), but when was The Ring of Fire supposed to have happened?
TIA

I've got two good posts in me and I just wrote my third...

This is the order I learned of years ago and used to view the eps:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111880/episodes#season-1

• "Pilot"
• "A Tree Grows in Trinity"
• "Eye of the Beholder"
• "Damned if You Don't"
• "Dead to the World"
• "Potato Boy"
• "Meet the Beetles"
• "Strong Arm of the Law"
• "To Hell and Back"
• "The Beast Within"
• "Rebirth"
• "Ring of Fire"
• "Resurrector"
• "Inhumanitas"
• "The Plague Sower"
• "Doctor Death Takes a Holiday"
• "Learning to Crawl"
• "Echo of Your Last Goodbye"
• "Triangle"
• "Strangler"
• "The Buck Stops Here"
• "Requiem"

Just now found this order, which switches "Potato Boy" & "Dead To The World" and "Triangle" & "Strangler":

It's too much trouble to watch them in order, just be sure to watch Requiem last.

So, which is it?

This is a few years after the original post but I am about halfway through the dvd series and I am watching in what is supposed to be the correct order and I agree that Potato Boy seems like it should be viewed after the pilot. I started watching a while back in the order on the discs and realized that something just wasn't right. Wherever Potato Boy belongs this corrected viewing order is much better than the order they were slapped onto the discs.

Until someone posts an order that most everyone agrees is the right way to view the episodes, it's trial and error.

Found this:

http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/americangothic.php

It's all the more important to view the episodes in their intended order because, unlike many short-lived TV series, American Gothic was able to create a complete story arc and resolve it by the final episode (as Eick observes on the commentary, "We knew we were dead early enough to plan our own funeral"). For those who desire to watch the series as it was meant to be seen, and avoid the extreme confusion caused by watching the episodes in their DVD sequence, here is the order that the episodes should appear in:

• "Pilot"
• "A Tree Grows in Trinity"
• "Eye of the Beholder"
• "Damned if You Don't"
• "Potato Boy"
• "Dead to the World"
• "Meet the Beetles"
• "Strong Arm of the Law"
• "To Hell and Back"
• "The Beast Within"
• "Rebirth"
• "Ring of Fire"
• "Resurrector"
• "Inhumanitas"
• "The Plague Sower"
• "Doctor Death Takes a Holiday"
• "Learning to Crawl"
• "Echo of Your Last Goodbye"
• "Strangler"
• "Triangle"
• "The Buck Stops Here"
• "Requiem"

That's two votes for this order. 
