Why was the scheduling for Season 10 (2005) so weird?

Season 10 was the fourth and last season of the first relaunch era with Lisa Foiles, Jack DeSena, Chelsea Brummet, and Kyle Sullivan. This particular season only had ten episodes (eleven if you count the tenth anniversary special), which is naturally, the lowest seasonal episode count before or since.

Prior to this, All That had a minimum of 13 episodes per season. The first six episodes ran uninterrupted from April 30 to June 11. But then, Nickelodeon put the series on hiatus for the rest of the summer. They wouldn't resume airing new episodes again until that October.

Also, there are two episodes that were left unaired in the United States (they apparently aired instead, only in Australia). One with Bow Wow as the musical guest and the other with Brie Larson as the musical guest.
