I hated this show as a kid.

I had just turned 10 when it came out, and my most vivid memory of watching this show was being stuck watching it. TV seemed more event based back then, considering Saturday meant cartoons, SNICK, and SNL.
When "All That" came on, it made me hate SNICK. I hated that expression, and naming a show after it made me hate the show prematurely. Normally when I watch stuff associated with my childhood, I get all the familiar pangs of nostalgia, but with this, I still can't stomach watching it.

I guess what I'm getting at is this, what was it about this show that people liked? Because I seem to be in the minority from these boards. I'm just curious as to what I overlooked.

Wow, All That simply personified being a kid of the '90s imo, it was cool, clever and funny. It wasn't only the cast and writing that drew me towards it but the whole feel of the show, comedy, chilled, kids having fun, musical guests...

I never really cared for All That, either. I was 11 when it premiered. I think if I had been younger, I would have enjoyed it. There were some funny skits, but the show wasn't that funny overall. I watched SNICK for Are You Afraid Of The Dark? That was one of Nick's best shows!

I loved it but there were certain skits I didn't think were funny, like the Librarian who was always yelling, and I wasn't a big fan of Ask Ashley as a kid, she's a lot funnier to watch now that I'm older.
