Was Lisa Foiles the one good thing about the later seasons?

Watching some of the later episodes with the new cast, I noticed how good Foiles was, even if the skit was not good, she still made it watchable at times. I also noticed she's been in quiet a few shows like Even Stevens and Malcolm In The Middle, so she had some experience before coming onto this show which is why I feel she was the better aspect of the new cast seasons. Even compared to the old cast, she was still good. Just wish they used her more often.

Lisa Foiles & Jack DeSena were both really good. It's probably not coincidental that they've had the most consistent post-All-That success of any later-season cast member.

I don't know about the first revival cast, but the original, golden era cast had a lot of raw talent and natural wit about them. And bare in mind that this was long and well before YouTube was a thing. They were naturally funny and witty at creating their own characters. The point is that raw talent like that doesn't come around very often. And with today's kids and comedy, it's hard to come up with original sketches like we saw back then.
