What is your opinion on the ending?
For me it was rather hopefully. It was a very interesting shot plus the music made it even more beautiful. I think she finally said yes!

I'm afraid I agree. The music, the long shot, all point to her saying Yes.
Although as the end approached, I started to see a bit of a nicer side to him, there were time I was almost shouting at the screen "don't do it, get away, he's a pain and a pest"

I guessed from the music, but also the fact that he ran back, to me signalling excitement. This movie bored me however, it was a chore to reach the end. I have seen other Iranian films that in my opinion have all been better.

This magnificent movie had a great effect on me. I lost a sister, 2 nephews and 3 nieces in this horrible earthquake. The earthquake of Roudbar, Gilan, Iran on which this movie is based on, FOR ME WAS ONE oF HIS BEST FILMS.
