The Defender is a fun movie that reminds me of The Bodyguard in terms of how the story is structured. The Bodyguard is hired, the girl doesn't approve of him at first until he proves his loyalty and she begins to fall in love with him much like Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. Defender may come off as cheesy at times but its entertaining as an action packed film with thrills and romance.
