Orson Welles' broadcast of War of the Worlds
This sounds alot like what he did. He presented the story in a bunch of news bulletins on the radio, which is why everyone thought is was real. That guys a genious.

shareI heard a rebroadcast of War of The Worlds in 1968. It scared the c**p out of me. This movie was presentated just as well. Had I not notice the "Actors" I would have thought this movie was real as well. It is extremely well done.
shareUnless it was broadcast at the exact same time as the fictitious events in the movie, then no way could you think it was real. How many times did they give exact times that certain developments were happening?
