Time for a remake?

Of sorts....
Keep the original FMV footage, but obivously in better quality. They must still have the original master tapes, they could scale it to HD!
And also update the gameplay graphics to todays standard, I'm sure it would sell bucket loads on the 360 and PS3.

And would probably do on PC too. Wing commander was shot on digital beta tapes that were and still are used around the world as a standart beacouse of their extremeley high quality so yea it would probably look pretty good. But the wing commander 4 videos, now those were shot 35mm film that has much higher resolution than full HD. Now those would really shine!

Unfortunately, EA holds the license for the game and I doubt that they would spend money on a remake.

We never know.. Mark Hamill is going to be on all lips with the new star wars movies, and we could see such things marketed (let's be fair, it's just a marketing (money) thing)
