This showed up in my Netflix streaming queue last night. Watch it if you can.

I second that! This is quite a movie. Rare to see such honesty and depth. Still thinking about it the next day.

loved it when it came out almost 20 yrs ago(!), and haven't forgotten it...so glad it became available at least on instant watch.

I watched it for the first time today. I first heard of it in 1996 when I read the (then) current Leonard Maltin Movie Guide cover-to-cover. It sounded so cool, though Maltin's review was rather mixed.

I agree and that's where I watched it; but why is the picture so blurry? Even low budget indie films from that era should be clearer, I'd think.

Did you mean it literally just appeared in your queue, BTW? I don't remember how it landed in mine, but I had assumed I read about it somewhere and added it myself. I didn't think Netflix just added movies to people's queues.
