Who played the voice on the phone?

Throughout the movie Heather keeps getting phone calls from her stalker saying things like Freddys coming for you, etc.
Does anybody know who played the voice on the phone? It doesn't sound like Robert Englund but it seems like a voice Ive heard before, I just can't place it and the voice isn't listed in the cast.
